The grand finale of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 23, at the prestigious University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra. The tournament, which has showcased some of West Africa’s brightest young football talent, will reach its climax with both the third-place and final matches set for the same venue.

According to the WAFU Secretariat, the third-place playoff will kick off at 15:00 GMT, offering the two semi-final losers a final chance to end their campaign on a high note. The championship final will follow later in the evening, with kick-off slated for 19:00 GMT under floodlights.

The University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with its state-of-the-art facilities and modern playing surface, is expected to provide a fitting stage for what promises to be two exciting and competitive matches.

The venue has already hosted several major sporting events since its completion and will now play a key role in closing out one of the region’s most competitive youth tournaments.

So far, the 2025 WAFU B U20 Boys Cup has delivered thrilling football, passionate rivalries, and the emergence of standout individual performers across the participating nations.

Fans are encouraged to come out in their numbers to support the young stars and celebrate the spirit of West African football.
