The Upper East Regional Football Association has successfully launched the U15 Girls Regional Colts League, marking a major milestone in the promotion and development of grassroots women’s football in the region.
The opening matches, played at selected centres across the region, featured young and talented girls from various districts competing with enthusiasm and determination.
The kickoff ceremony attracted coaches, football administrators, parents, and supporters who gathered to cheer on the emerging stars.
The maiden fixtures delivered exciting performances, with teams demonstrating commendable discipline, teamwork, and technical ability. Several players impressed spectators with their confidence and skill, highlighting the growing passion for girls’ football in the Upper East Region.
