Gordon announced the news on Sunday via social media, posting a number of photos, including multiple of her and Maxey together.
Maxey reposted Gordan’s post — captioned “I carry her while he carries us” with a heart hands emoji — on his own Instagram story.
Gordon played college basketball at both and , averaging 7.9 points and 1.6 assists per game across 11 games in her final collegiate season with the Waves.
Maxey has excelled this season for the , averaging 29 points per game as the team jockeys for position in the Eastern Conference playoff race, but is set to miss at least the next two games after suffering a right finger sprain over the weekend.
