Thierry Henry: Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal deserved silverware by now

The Gunners legend of their golden generation Thierry Henry has given a strong response in view of the Gunners hunt for the trophies. He has stated that the Gunners should have already secured a trophy by now under their current manager Mikel Arteta. From the last 4 seasons under a same manager their progress in the league table is visible. From being a mid table average team to a almost near perfect team missing each time on trophies by a fine margin. With strong league performance each time in the English Premier League the hunt for a major trophy still continues. With the team improving both physically and tactically each season. Fans expectations from the Gunners squad have become massive. But the team has failed to deliver the fans their expected outcomes each time. Recently stating that the progress of the team is quite visible but progress without winning any kinds of trophies does not count much in football. Which emphasizes not only his feelings but the feelings of the Gunners fans that are waiting patiently for the club to win major trophies. Henry time at the Gunners was built on legacy of major trophies like the Premier League, FA Cups and brilliant unbreakable records. Building his career on high glories at the Gunners. The current team has reach the failed at the semifinals of the UCL.

His statements not just offer any criticism but is helping the clubs maintain its standards he once set. He wants to see the club winning again just like the golden generation of his time. With a strong finish this season the next upcoming season will play an important for Arteta for his hunt for trophies with the Gunners. As possible new signings are coming with potential exits of many players. The Gunners have their tools ready to compete for the next season in both the domestic and the European competition. With past mistakes and new solutions with challenges ahead the Gunners must face the new season tactically with Arteta.
