League leaders Tamale City FC continued their remarkable form with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over struggling Northern City FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Emmanuel Anaba was the hero, netting the decisive goal in the 84th minute to secure all three points for the Zone One A leaders. Tamale City remain unbeaten in the Zone after 20 matches, amassing 44 points so far this season.

In Zone One B, leaders Debibi United FC suffered their third defeat of the season, going down 1-0 to Dormaa Unity FC. An early own goal by Bariu Sule in the 16th minute proved decisive, giving Dormaa Unity the full points.

Former Premier League side Real Tamale United moved closer to city rivals Tamale City FC with a thrilling 3-1 comeback win over Wa Power SC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Wa Power took an early lead through Issahaku Wahid in the 4th minute, but Samuel Lamptey equalized from the penalty spot before halftime. After the break, Asare Andrews struck twice in the 67th and 86th minutes to seal the victory and end Wa Power’s six-game unbeaten streak (W5, D1). Real Tamale United now have 39 points from 20 matches, just five behind the league leaders and city rivals Tamale City.
