Everton have reportedly shown interest in signing Kyle Walker after the Manchester City defender failed to secure a permanent move at AC Milan. Walker left City temporarily in the January transfer window, joining Milan on loan, but the Serie A giants are opting against triggering their option to buy the English right back.

Having been excluded from Manchester City’s squad for the Club World Cup, Kyle Walker will be allowed to leave the Etihad Stadium when his current deal runs out at the end of this month. While it looks like the 35-year-old could be without a club upon the expiration of his current contract, he now seems to have a suitor.

According to The Telegraph, Everton manager David Moyes has identified Kyle Walker as a priority target as they look to head into their new stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock, for the 2025-26 season. Moyes’ interest in Walker reportedly follows the impending departure of Ashley Young from the club at the end of this month.

Adding to the intrigue, the Daily Mail reported that Walker himself wants to remain in the Premier League, as he is keen on fighting for this place in the England national team. Walker joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017. In addition to Everton, Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahçe are reportedly keen on signing the full-back.

Kyle Walker was a key player in Pep Guardiola’s squad, helping the club win a plethora of trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League. To date, he has made 319 appearances for City across competitions, scoring six goals and providing 21 assists for the club.

Jack Grealish is on the verge of leaving Manchester City after Napoli, with reports suggesting that Serie A champions Napoli are ready to spend £45 million for the former Aston Villa man. Grealish lost his coveted position to Savinho at the start of the 2024-25 campaign and has since been linked with a move away from the club.

Like Walker, Grealish was left out of Guardiola’s squad for the Club World Cup and looks set to make a switch this summer. According to The Sun, Napoli have £45 million to spend on Jack Grealish or Alejandro Garnacho but would prefer to sign Grealish, though Garnacho is younger.

The report adds that Napoli favors a move for Grealish as they intend to reunite him with midfield maestro Kevin de Bruyne, who signed a two-year deal with the Azzurri last Thursday.

Jack Grealish joined City in 2021 from Villa for a then-British record of £100 million.
