England legend Alan Shearer believes Cristiano Ronaldo deserves a farewell match, like the one Lionel Messi got earlier this week. He questioned whether the Portuguese superstar will get one if he keeps walking out of the national team camp.
Speaking to Betfair, Shearer said that Ronaldo’s refusal to apologise to the manager for walking out of the national team camp was a surprise. He stated that refusing to accept that the best days are behind them eats into players, and the Portugal captain is going through that phase.
