After 109 matches played from the preliminary stage to the final in the prestigious MTN FA Cup this season, 64 home wins were recorded and 45 away wins. A total of 238 goals were scored, with 136 goals scored at home and 102 goals scored away from home; 8 own goals were also recorded. While 117 goals came in the first half, the second half witnessed 121 goals. Seventy games were decided in regulation time, and 39 games were decided on penalties. Twenty penalties were successfully converted out of the 22 awarded.

Additionally, 368 players and team officials were booked, with 16 sent off. Debibi United’s youngster Ibrahim Alhassan recorded the most goals in the just-ended MTN FA Cup campaign with five goals, while Asante Kotoko’s star man Kwame Opoku, Israel Iddrisu of Wa Power SC, Accra Lions FC’s forward Lucky Nwafor, and Najib Fuseini of Karela United FC each bagged four goals.
