Al-Hilal have reportedly set another bid to sign Manchester United target Victor Osimhen this summer. The Nigerian star had rejected the Saudi Pro League side’s initial offer earlier this month.
According to a report in GOAL, Al-Hilal have improved their bid as they push to secure Osimhen’s signature. They believe that the striker will be open to making the move once the FIFA Club World Cup is over.
Al-Hilal have now made a €50-million-per-season offer to sign Osimhen this summer. They had a €37 million offer rebuffed by the 26-year-old, who is keen on making a move to the Premier League.
Speaking to Metro earlier this month, former player John Obi Mikel advised Osimhen to reject a move to the Saudi Pro League and instead join the Red Devils. He said:
Manchester United also face competition for Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, while Juventus are also keeping tabs on him.
In his conversation with Metro, John Obi Mikel opined that the Red Devils or the Gunners were perfect for Victor Osimhen. He wanted the Nigerian at Chelsea, but the Blues have signed Liam Delap instead.
He said:
Ruben Amorim’s side are looking to bring in a striker after Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee’s forgettable 2024-25 season.
