The are trading and to the for , sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Wednesday.

Kuminga’s time with the Warriors ends after 4½ tumultuous seasons that saw the 23-year-old wing repeatedly fall out of Steve Kerr’s rotation. Drafted with the No. 7 pick in 2021, Kuminga flashed his potential as an athletic wing several times throughout his career but never ended up meshing with the rest of the roster on the court, particularly after the trade to acquire last season.

After a contentious negotiation this past summer, Kuminga signed a two-year deal with a team option for $24 million next season, meaning he wasn’t eligible to be traded until Jan. 15.

Kuminga started the first 12 games of the season, but after the Warriors hit a skid, Kuminga was benched before falling out of the rotation entirely after 13 games. He found playing time again after the season-ending injury to Butler but was then sidelined himself with a knee injury.

Porzingis got off to a hot start to the season, averaging 19.2 points in his first 13 games with the Hawks, who acquired the Latvian big man in a trade with the in the offseason.

However, his season was derailed by what the Hawks called an illness that sidelined him for most of December. While on the Celtics last season, Porzingis was diagnosed with an autonomic nervous system disorder called POTS that ended up severely limiting him in the playoffs.

Porzingis said his doctors found solutions over the summer to manage his heath and that he entered the season feeling good. He returned from his month-long absence on Dec. 31 but played just four games before sitting out again for the next several weeks. He has not appeared in a game since Jan. 7.

When healthy, Porzingis is a high-end stretch-five and, at a towering 7-foot-2, is also one of the league’s best rim protectors. He is on an expiring deal and is set to hit free agency this summer.

Kuminga has career averages of 12.5 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 50% from the field.
