Soft Care Sanitary Products has extended vital support to girls’ grassroots football by donating sanitary towels to participating teams in the Greater Accra Region of the U15 Girls Regional Colts League.

The donation, made during the ongoing league activities, is aimed at promoting menstrual hygiene, confidence and uninterrupted participation among young female footballers.

Naana Kabukuor Dagodjo Domaaley I, Paramount Queen of Ada Traditional Area and patron for Cabfix Ladies and Mr. Jerod Doetse Kabu CEO of Cabfix Ladies FC donated 16 boxes of Soft Care sanitary pads to GFA as well to support the Regional U-15 Girls Colts League in Greater Accra Regional Football Association and Eastern Regional Football Association.

It underscores the growing role of corporate partners in supporting not only sports development but also the welfare and wellbeing of athletes at the grassroots level.

Officials of the league and representatives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) lauded the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, particularly for young players who often face challenges related to access to sanitary products.

The contribution from Soft Care highlights the importance of partnerships in women’s football and reinforces the message that supporting the girl child goes beyond the pitch, helping to empower the next generation of footballers in Ghana.
