England fans on X have blasted Kyle Walker after he struggled defensively during their shock 3-1 loss against Senegal. The two sides locked horns in an international friendly at The City Ground on Tuesday, June 10.
The Three Lions got off to the perfect start when Harry Kane tapped home in the seventh minute to break the deadlock. However, Senegal capitalized on Kyle Walker’s failure to track Ismaila Sarr in the 40th minute, with the latter netting from close range to level the scores.
The visitors carved England open with another ball over the top in the 62nd minute, resulting in Habib Diarra making it 2-1 with a brilliant finish. To make matters worse, Jude Bellingham’s leveler was then ruled out by VAR due to a handball by Levi Colwill. Cheikh Sabaly found the back of the net in the third minute of stoppage time following a rapid counter-attack to seal an impressive win for Senegal.
England fans were unimpressed by Walker‘s poor defending at the back as his lack of awareness led to Sarr scoring. The 35-year-old also looked uncharacteristically slow and rusty on the ball.

Silas is a Liverpool supporter through and through and admires everything about the club – it’s history, culture, style of play, and all of its iconic players and managers. His favorite player is Steven Gerrard, who was also one of the primary reasons to get interested in football and support Liverpool.
Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Jurgen Klopp, who transformed the Reds from a mid-table club to Premier League champions. Liverpool’s fourth goal in their 4-0 win over Barcelona, scored by Divock Origi after the iconic ‘corner taken quickly’ moment from Trent Alexander-Arnold, holds a special place in Silas’ heart.
Apart from Europe’s top five leagues, he also follows Major League Soccer and the Saudi Pro League. When not writing, he indulges in reading, traveling, fitness and gaming.
