The German international Leroy Sane has made a surprise exit from the German champions Bayern Munich. To start a new chapter in his career. The 29 year old winger after deciding to leave the champions initially made contact with the Gunners camp. But he has switched to Turkish side Galatasaray in a deal set for 3 years coming as a free agent. He has received a good welcome in the country of Turkey. With fans coming in the number of millions in the airport to welcome the player. The player after deciding to leave the club got the attention of many clubs. With interest from clubs in England like Gunners, Blues and the Spurs. He also had talks with the Gunners camp. But made his decision to go Galatasaray. Due to a get a new journey in his career. As the player already has experience in the English Premier League.

Dear Bayern fans,
after 5 intense years here in Munich, I’ve decided to start a new chapter in the upcoming season. I’m incredibly proud to have worn the jersey of the best and biggest club in Germany for over 200 matches and will always cherish the titles we’ve won together.… pic.twitter.com/qPPufPmWGR

Coming from the blue part of Manchester in 2020. He has played a total of 220 games for the German side. He has scored a total of 61 goals and getting 55 assists. In his trophy collection he has collected four German league title Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. He has been playing a important part for the team for many years. But in the past a few seasons he has been seen struggling due to lack of form and recent injuries to him. Not helping him get his top form in the game. There were time about his contract renewal at the club. But the player wanted to go for a new journey in his career. Finally deciding to go for Galatasaray. Offering him a better offer than the already existing one he is getting. Getting him a regular spot in team.

The Turkish was already in interest for the player for a year now. Their long wait and talks finally gave good results. Not just with a better money offer but a big role in the team to lead the side in attack. With assurance as a regular starter with Champions League sure for the next season for the team. With interest from the big sides for him but there was no guarantee of a regular playing spot for a top league. So, he went with this decision for him. But before several days the Gunners were keen on securing him. But the Gunners got a little slow in their approach for the player. Making the player go for the side. He described that he was amazed by the size of the club and their interest on him for many times now. The Turkish giants will sign him in a three-year deal keeping him until the year of 2028.

His transfer to the Turkish side is a surprising one. As the player was in touch with the Gunners. But this move is a very smart move for the player. As it will ensure the player a regular playing spot for the side. As going for a big team like the Gunners would not help him directly get a regular spot. Making his position strong to be in the squad for the German national team for the next year’s FIFA world cup.
