Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday posted a heartfelt message to his mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day, saying she has been his anchor. “Everything I am started with her prayers and her strength. My Aai has always been my anchor, just like every mother is for her child. Wishing all the incredible mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day!” he posted on X.
In 2017, in a song release from the upcoming movie, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams,” Sachin had revealed that his mother Rajni Tendulkar had started the famous ‘Sachin Sachin’ chant. “My mother started it actually. I used to go play downstairs and to call me back home, mother would call ‘Sachin Sachin’,” Tendulkar had said.
“I never thought ‘Sachin Sachin’ (chant) would continue beyond my playing days,” said the Indian batting legend, It has now gone to the theatres. So I feel happy,” he had added.

On Sunday, a lot of other sports stars including also paid tribute to his mother and wife Anushka Sharma on the occasion.
“Happy mothers day to all the mothers of the world. I was born to one, accepted by one as a son and have seen one grow into a strong, nurturing, loving and protective mother to our children. We love you more and more everyday @anushkasharma,” he posted on Instagram.
