What was meant to be a day of celebration turned into heartbreak—not just for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans, but for the entire nation. A day after the team secured their maiden IPL title, tragedy struck during the victory parade in Bengaluru. Thousands of fans had gathered near Vidhana Soudha to celebrate and catch a glimpse of their heroes. The festivities began after the players met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, followed by an open-top bus parade to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

However, the crowd soon became uncontrollable, and the excitement turned to chaos. A stampede broke out, resulting in the deaths of 11 people and injuries to several others. This tragic event has cast a dark shadow over what should have been a historic and joyous occasion for the franchise and the city.
