Anticipation is building ahead of the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup final as Army Ladies and Hassacas Ladies prepare to battle for the coveted trophy.

Since its inception, the competition has produced different champions, reflecting the growing competitiveness and development of the women’s game across the country.

With Faith Ladies crowned champions of the 2024/25 season, attention has now shifted to who will emerge victorious in the upcoming campaign.

Former winners of the Women’s FA Cup include Police Ladies, who lifted the maiden title in 2016, followed by Prisons Ladies in 2017.

Hasaacas Ladies claimed the crown in the 2020/21 season, while Ampem Darkoa Ladies enjoyed back-to-back success in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

Army Ladies then secured the title in 2023/24 before Faith Ladies added their name to the growing list of champions in 2024/25.

The competition has become a major platform for showcasing talent, creating memorable moments, and strengthening the profile of women’s football in Ghana.

As preparations intensify for season’s finale, football fans in Kukurantumi are eager to see whether established powerhouse, Hasaacas Ladies will reclaim the trophy or if Army Ladies will emerge second time winners.
