Pro Sports Academy have been crowned champions of the Ashanti Region Division Two Middle League after a commanding 2-0 victory over Benab FC at the iconic Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The emphatic win seals their qualification to the Division One League Zone Two, marking a major milestone in the club’s steady rise through the ranks.

The match was effectively decided in the first half, as Pro Sports showcased their attacking intent and composure under pressure. Just six minutes into the game, Kwadwo Afrifa Tuffour opened the scoring, setting the tone for what would become a dominant performance. His early strike unsettled Benab FC and handed Pro Sports the momentum they needed to control proceedings.

With confidence flowing, Pro Sports continued to press forward, dictating the tempo and creating chances. Their persistence paid off in the 34th minute when Princecort Amoako doubled the lead with a well-taken goal, putting daylight between his side and their opponents. The two-goal cushion allowed Pro Sports to approach the second half with tactical discipline and control.

Defensively, Pro Sports were resolute, shutting down any attempts by Benab FC to mount a comeback. Their organization at the back ensured that the first-half goals would prove decisive, as they managed the game efficiently and denied their opponents any clear scoring opportunities.

The victory not only secures the Middle League title but also confirms Pro Sports Academy’s promotion to the Division One League Zone Two.

For Pro Sports Academy, this triumph is more than just a title—it is the beginning of a new chapter and an opportunity to prove themselves on a bigger stage.
