It is with great pride and a deep sense of gratitude that I commend all the 48 teams on the successful conclusion of the 2024-25 Access Bank Division One League.

I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the three clubs that have earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League. Your dedication, resilience, and quality on the pitch have paid off, and you now take your well-deserved place at the top tier of Ghanaian football. We welcome you and urge you to remain true ambassadors of discipline, professionalism, and fair play.

Equally, we acknowledge the clubs that will be exiting the Division One League. While this outcome is never easy, relegation is not an end,  it is an invitation to rebuild, to reflect, and to return stronger. The Ghana Football Association stands ready to support all our clubs at every level of the football pyramid.

We witnessed an improvement in the overall quality of play, matchday organization and officiating. Through intensified technical support, enhanced referee development, and greater collaboration with club administrators, we have made important strides in making the Division One League hugely competitive.

Central to this progress has been the unwavering partnership of our title sponsor, Access Bank. Their continued commitment to Ghanaian football has been a catalyst for growth and transformation in the Division One League. Together, we have been able to invest in club capacity building, grassroots scouting, and marketing initiatives that are elevating the standard of the game.

We also take this opportunity to commend our regional football associations, technical teams, match commissioners and all other stakeholders whose tireless efforts ensured a smooth and successful season across all three zones.

As we prepare for 2025-26 season, the Football Association reaffirms its commitment to expanding opportunities, deepening investment, and introducing innovative reforms that will make our Division One League even stronger, more vibrant, and commercially viable.

To the players, coaches, club owners, supporters, and everyone who contributes to the lifeblood of our game: thank you. Your passion is the driving force behind our football dreams.

May the beautiful game continue to thrive in every corner of Ghana.

Thank you and God bless our football.

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku

President, Ghana Football Association
