Premier League: Vision FC eye home dominance as Bechem United battle away-day woes on Saturday

Vision FC return to the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex brimming with confidence after a resounding 3-0 triumph over Eleven Wonders at the Swedru Sports Stadium last Friday.

That emphatic victory propelled the Tema-based side four places up the league table to 11th, with 27 points, underlining their steady resurgence in the Premiership.

Nana Kweku Agyemang’s men are enjoying one of their finest spells of the campaign, going unbeaten in six of their last seven matches (three wins, three draws, one defeat). With 22 goals scored and 23 conceded in 22 outings, Vision FC have shown balance and growing resilience. Their home form has been particularly impressive, four wins, five draws, and just a single defeat, making their fortress in Tema a difficult ground for visiting sides.

Saturday presents another opportunity to consolidate that strength when they host Bechem United, a side that managed to hold them in their only previous home encounter.

Bechem United travel to Tema in ninth place with 29 points, sitting two spots above their hosts. The Hunters have been solid in recent weeks, recording three wins, one draw, and one defeat in their last five league matches. Their latest success, a narrow 1-0 victory over Young Apostles FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park,  kept them firmly in the top-half conversation.

However, Head Coach Kobina Amissah faces a glaring challenge amid his side’s alarming away record. Bechem United remain one of six teams yet to register an away win this season, managing only two draws and suffering eight defeats on the road. They have scored a mere six goals away from home while conceding 20 — the second-highest away goals conceded in the league.
