Medeama SC reinforced their title credentials with a commanding 4–0 victory over Asante Kotoko at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium on Sunday.

Dominant from the outset, Medeama combined clinical finishing with defensive solidity to overwhelm their opponents.

An early breakthrough, aided by a deflection, set the tone before Kelvin Obeng doubled the lead with a powerful header.

Salim Adams then stole the spotlight, netting twice, either side of halftime, to seal an emphatic win and earn Man of the Match honours.

The result lifts Medeama back to the top of the  Premier League standings, two points clear of Bibiani Gold Stars with five games remaining.

FC Samartex 1996 returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Berekum Chelsea in their Matchday 29 clash at Samreboi.

Alhassan Mohammed’s early strike proved decisive, as he calmly finished a well-worked move just eight minutes into the contest to give the hosts a dream start.

Although the visitors improved after the break and pushed for an equaliser, they were unable to break down a disciplined and compact Samartex defence. The hosts remained a threat on the counter but could not add to their lead.

In the end, Mohammed’s goal was enough to secure all three points, strengthening Samartex’s push for a top-four finish, while Chelsea remain precariously close to the relegation zone amid ongoing struggles on the road.

Nations FC boosted their survival hopes with an impressive 2–0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Samuel Tetteh starred with a clinical first-half brace, scoring in the 5th and 10th minutes to put the hosts firmly in control. Nations dominated proceedings, enjoying greater possession and creating the clearer chances, while their opponents struggled to find attacking rhythm.

The result lifts Nations out of the relegation zone and provides a timely boost in their fight for survival, while Basake Holy Stars remain mid-table with work still to do to secure their status.

Karela United were held to an entertaining 2–2 draw by ten-man Heart of Lions in their Matchday 29 clash at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

The game was evenly balanced, with both sides level at 1–1 at halftime after Eric Antwi cancelled out Michael Ephson’s early opener. Heart of Lions’ task became more difficult in the second half when Ismail Abambila was sent off, but they showed resilience as Chauncy Freeman restored their lead in the 74th minute.

Karela, however, responded through Antwi, who grabbed his second goal of the match to rescue a point for the hosts and deny the visitors a hard-fought victory.

The result leaves Karela United 7th on 42 points, while Heart of Lions remain 10th with 38 points, as both sides continue their push for a strong finish to the season.

Young Apostles boosted their survival hopes with a narrow 1–0 victory over All Blacks at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

Richmond Opoku proved decisive, scoring a stunning early goal in the 9th minute that ultimately settled the contest.

All Blacks responded strongly after the break, applying sustained pressure in search of an equaliser, but a resolute Young Apostles defence held firm to secure all three points.

The win marks a timely return to form for Young Apostles as they strengthen their bid to avoid relegation.

Dreams FC produced a stunning second-half comeback to thrash Eleven Wonders 5–1, highlighting a dramatic round of action in the Ghana Premier League as both the title race and relegation battle intensified.

After falling behind to a first-half strike, Dreams FC responded emphatically after the break, with Suraj Seidu netting twice and further goals from John Antwi, Jonathan Nemorden, and Godfred Sarpong sealing an impressive turnaround.

The victory lifts Dreams into mid-table, while Eleven Wonders remain rooted to the bottom and relegated.
