Matchday 21 of the Premier League promises high-stakes encounters across the country on Sunday February 1, 2026, with clubs jostling for title contention, top-four places and survival.

Hearts of Oak welcome Bechem United FC buoyed by a strong run of form that has lifted them to fourth on the table.

The Phobians boast one of the league’s best defensive records, conceding just seven goals all season, but their inconsistent home form could offer Bechem United hope.

However, the Hunters remain winless away from home this campaign, making Sunday’s trip a daunting task despite their recent rise into the top half.

Karela United FC, now ninth after a poor run, will look to rediscover winning ways at home against newly promoted Hohoe United FC.

While Karela remain solid at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Hohoe United travel to Tamale desperate to end a seven-game winless streak as they continue to battle relegation fears.

Defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC face a crucial test at Dun’s Park against Swedru All Blacks FC.

Gold Stars are winless in three matches and have failed to score during that run, but their formidable home record offers encouragement.

Swedru All Blacks, meanwhile, have shown resilience on the road and will target a rare away victory in Bibiani.

At Dormaa, Aduana FC host in-form FC Samartex 1996 in one of the standout fixtures of the round.

Aduana are third and eyeing a sustained title push, but Samartex arrive unbeaten in four matches and confident, having never lost at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in recent league visits.

Basake Holy Stars FC will rely on their impressive home form when they face Berekum Chelsea FC.

With 20 of their 23 points earned at the AAK II Sports Arena, Basake will hope to bounce back from a heavy defeat last weekend. Chelsea, revitalised by a shock win over Gold Stars, remain fragile on the road despite improved results.

Elsewhere, Young Apostles host bottom-placed Eleven Wonders FC in a crucial relegation battle.

Young Apostles are unbeaten at home this season and will see this as an opportunity to relieve pressure, while Eleven Wonders continue to search for a first away win amid a difficult campaign.
