The 2025/26 Premier League continue on Sunday with set of fixtures in the second round, ushering in a decisive phase of the campaign as teams across the table seek to sharpen their title ambitions or fight their way clear of relegation trouble.

Asante Kotoko vs Berekum Chelsea

Asante Kotoko will look to respond to last weekend’s setback at Swedru by leaning on their formidable home form at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Porcupine Warriors sit third with 30 points and boast the league’s most potent attack, remaining unbeaten at home this season.

Berekum Chelsea, meanwhile, begin the second round in the relegation zone and are still searching for their first away win, making Sunday’s clash a stern test against one of their least-favoured opponents.

Aduana FC vs Karela United

Aduana FC aim to bounce back from their first home defeat of the campaign when they host Karela United in Dormaa. Despite slipping to fourth, the Fire Club remain strong at home and will take confidence from recent dominance in this fixture.

Karela United arrive in steady form but continue to chase their first away victory of the season, hoping to build on a three-game unbeaten run.

Medeama SC vs Young Apostles

League leaders Medeama SC continue their title charge after opening a two-point gap at the summit. Unbeaten in 14 matches and formidable at home, the Mauve and Yellow welcome a Young Apostles side struggling for consistency and goals on the road. The hosts will be keen to protect their flawless home record as the second round begins.

Bechem United vs Bibiani Gold Stars FC

Bechem United, just one point above the relegation zone, will rely on their impressive home form when they face defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars. The Miners, now second on the table and just two points off the top, arrive in strong away form and will be eager to extend their recent road success in a clash with major implications at both ends of the table.

Dreams FC vs Heart of Lions

Dreams FC will seek to maintain their dominant run at the Tuba Astroturf, where they remain unbeaten this season. Heart of Lions, despite a prolonged winless streak, sit in the top half and have proven difficult to beat away from home. This fixture promises a tactical contest between Dreams’ home strength and Lions’ defensive resilience.

Swedru All Blacks vs Nations FC

Fresh from a morale-boosting victory over Asante Kotoko, Swedru All Blacks look to extend their seven-game unbeaten home run. Nations FC, however, continue to struggle away from home and will be desperate to end a dismal run on the road as they visit Swedru for the first time in Premier League action.

FC Samartex 1996 vs Vision FC

FC Samartex 1996, the league’s strongest home side this season, host a Vision FC team riding the momentum of back-to-back wins, including a shock away victory over Aduana FC.

With Samartex unbeaten at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena and Vision seeking successive away wins for the first time, this encounter could prove decisive in the race for a top-half finish.
