Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and a member of the Executive Council, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the U-15 Boys Inter-Regional Championship.

Mr. Aboabire, who has been instrumental in the growth of grassroots football across the Greater Accra Region, will lead the three-member committee tasked with ensuring the smooth planning and successful execution of the championship, which serves as a key development platform for young football talents across the country.

He will be supported by JoeSalam Abubakar, President of Tema United FC and Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee, who has been named as Vice Chairman of the LOC. Mr. Abubakar brings extensive experience in juvenile football administration and will play a crucial role in ensuring the competition achieves its objectives.

The committee is completed by Mohammed Iddi, CEO of Division One League side Tamale City FC, who joins as a member. His involvement adds strong technical and administrative insight, reflecting the GFA’s commitment to engaging stakeholders from across different levels of the game.

The establishment of the LOC underscores the GFA’s determination to invest in the U-15 Boys Inter-Regional Championship, a tournament designed to identify and nurture promising talents who will form the foundation of future national youth teams.

The GFA remains committed to providing the necessary resources and support to ensure the success of this championship, which forms a critical part of its long-term football development strategy.
