POWER TO THE YOUTH: Alhaji Abu Hassan Retained as Black Satellites Management Committee Chairman
SHARE

Executive Council Alhaji Abu Hassan has been retained as the Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee.

Alhaji Abu Hassan, who also serves as the Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, will continue to lead the committee as Ghana’s U-20 team prepares for future international assignments.

Working alongside him will be Eastern Regional Football Association Chairman, Linford Asamoah, who has been appointed Vice Chairman of the committee. The leadership structure is expected to provide strong administrative support and guidance for the development and success of the Black Satellites.

Other members of the committee include Nations FC President Devine Kyei, Swedru All Blacks President Stephen Atto Quayson, and Hearts of Oak management member Alhaji Braimah Akambi. Their combined experience from club and regional football administration will serve as an important asset to the national U-20 team’s progress.

The reappointment of Alhaji Abu Hassan reflects the FA’s confidence in his leadership, having overseen the committee in previous years. His continued stewardship is aimed at ensuring stability, continuity, and growth within the Black Satellites setup.

With both technical and management structures now in place, expectations are high for the Black Satellites as they seek to reclaim their place as a dominant force in youth football on the continent and beyond.
