Piers Morgan has offered to pay the fine amount after Portugal decided the punishment for Cristiano Ronaldo. The 41-year-old striker walked out of the national team during the international break after a fallout with head coach Jorge Jesus.
Although there were reports of him considering international retirement, Cristiano Ronaldo later confirmed that he wants to continue with Portugal. And in accordance with their disciplinary guidelines, the Portuguese Football Federation suspended the star striker for 30 days and slapped a fine of €255 on him.
