Manchester United fans were disappointed in defender Patrick Dorgu for his performance in their defeat to neighbours Manchester City. The Red Devils suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford despite playing three-quarters of the game with a numerical advantage.
Denmark international Dorgu retained his place in Michael Carrick‘s XI as Luke Shaw remains absent from the squad due to injury. The youngster was playing a league game for Manchester United at left-back for the first time since joining the club, having been used at left wing-back and as a left winger in the past. His previous left-back appearance was in Thursday’s UEFA Champions League game against Sabah FK, and he was Man of the Match in a 4-0 win.
