Port City FC kicked off their 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League campaign in style, extending their unbeaten run to 15 consecutive games after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over FC Nania at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park. Zakari Mumuni gave Port City FC a dream start with an early strike in the 4th minute, but Jake Binney leveled for FC Nania with a fine finish before halftime. The decisive moment came in the 80th minute when Eric Tibu fired home the match-winner to seal all three points for Port City.

At the Tuba Astroturf, Attram De Visser and Accra Lions shared the spoils in a competitive 1-1 draw. Jeff Dakpo put Accra Lions ahead in the 20th minute but substitute Christian Owusu Afriyie equalized with a stunning effort in the 64th minute for Attram De Visser.

Elsewhere in Sogakope, former Premier League campaigners Okwawu United picked up a vital away win with a narrow 1-0 triumph over WAFA SC. Abdul Salam Ocansey struck in the 77th minute to secure the points for Okwawu United.
