Out of 306 matches played at the end of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, 173 home wins were recorded, with 56 wins away from home and 77 games ending in a draw. A total of 591 goals were scored – 393 at home and 198 away from home – with 11 own goals also recorded. Meanwhile, 280 goals came in the first half, while 311 appeared in the second half. Fifty-two penalties were scored out of the 61 awarded.

Top Scorers:

Berekum Chelsea’s superstar Stephen Amankona has won the top scorer’s award for a second consecutive season, scoring 15 goals in 26 league matches. Amankona, who clinched the prestigious prize for the first time last season with 19 goals in 29 league appearances, beat his major competitors Albert Amoah of Asante Kotoko and Premier League debutant Faisal Charwetey of Nations FC, who each scored 12 goals.

Most Clean Sheets:

Gold Stars FC’s young goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi was recognized as the best shot-stopper in the league, recording the most clean sheets with a record 18. He beat Benjamin Asare of Hearts of Oak, who kept 17 clean sheets, while Masawudu Inusah of Aduana FC and Lawrence Osei of Heart of Lions each secured 16 clean sheets. Dari Aziz Haruna of Bechem United FC finished fifth on the most clean sheets list with 15. Kobi’s confidence, composure, and calmness in the post, combined with his instinctive saves, helped the Miners secure their first-ever silverware in the Ghana Premier League since their promotion to the top-flight league in the 2021/22 season, accumulating 63 points from 34 league matches.
