Northern Regional FA Division Two Middle League Kicks Off in Style

The Northern Regional Football Association Division Two Middle League got off to an exciting start over the weekend as Match Week One delivered thrilling encounters across several venues.

At the Karaga AstroTurf on Saturday, Northern Zaytuna secured a solid 2-0 victory over Dreams Tamale to open their campaign on a winning note. The side put up a disciplined performance to claim all three points in the opening fixture of the competition.

Meanwhile, Boresa SC edged Yelzoli FC in a thrilling seven-goal encounter at the Tolon AstroTurf. Boresa SC eventually emerged 4-3 winners in a match filled with attacking football and dramatic moments from both sides.

At the Gushegu AstroTurf, Super Wonders also made a strong start to their campaign with a narrow 3-2 victory over Bindo Stars in another closely contested match.

The final game of the opening round saw Steadfast FC and Mole Nationals share the spoils after a 1-1 draw at the Jinapor AstroTurf, with both teams settling for a point after an evenly balanced contest.

Attention now shifts to Match Week Two, which promises another round of exciting fixtures.

On Saturday, April 18, Bindo Stars will face Mole Nationals at the Tolon AstroTurf while Boresa FC take on Northern Zaytuna at the Busunu AstroTurf. The action continues on Sunday with Yelzoli FC set to play Dreams Tamale FC at the Karaga AstroTurf, while Super Wonders host Steadfast FC at the Gushegu AstroTurf.
