Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has urged the Premier League to punish Manchester City by expelling their owners after they were found guilty of breaching financial rules.
After a report from The Athletic revealed that City are guilty of majority of the charges against them, Premier League also confirmed the same in a statement. The independent commission that conducted the investigation found that City arranged ‘sham’ contracts with commercial partners to hide secret funding.
