Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has responded to Jamie Carragher’s apology after the Red Devils’ 4-0 win against Sabah FK in the Champions League. The Argentina international was thoroughly impressive for Michael Carrick’s side against the Azerbaijan Premier League club on Thursday, September 10.
Martinez helped the Red Devils keep a clean sheet and also scored their fourth goal. After the match, pundit Jamie Carragher issued an apology towards the 28-year-old for his earlier comments on live show.
