Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 70th match of IPL 2025.

Here are the top three battles to watch out for in today’s LSG vs RCB clash in the IPL 2025:

Virat Kohli vs Avesh Khan

Virat Kohli is enjoying one of his best IPL seasons. He has scored 548 runs from 12 matches at an average of 60.88 and a strike rate of 145.35. Avesh Khan, on the other hand, has had a modest season with 12 wickets in 12 matches.

In their IPL battles, Kohli has faced 41 balls from Avesh and scored 70 runs at a strike rate of 170.73. He has been dismissed twice by Avesh. It will be exciting to see if Kohli can keep up his dominance today.

Ayush Badoni vs Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood has clearly had the upper hand over Ayush Badoni in past encounters. He has bowled nine balls to Badoni, conceding only three runs and dismissing him twice. Badoni’s strike rate against Hazlewood is just 33.33. This contest will be a test for the young LSG batter.

Rishabh Pant vs Krunal Pandya

Rishabh Pant is having a tough season. He has scored only 151 runs in 13 matches at an average of 13.73 and a strike rate of 107.09. Krunal Pandya, meanwhile, has been solid for RCB, picking up 15 wickets in 12 matches.

However, Pant has done well against Krunal in the past. He has scored 79 runs off 42 balls and has been dismissed only three times by him in IPL history. This battle will be key, especially if Pant finds form today.
