Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo has earned his first start for the Black Stars as Otto Addo makes four changes to the team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali on Monday.

The 27-year-old, who has been impressive for Spanish La Liga side Real Oviedo, is making his first start for Ghana alongside Alexander Djiku and Thomas Partey, who missed the game against Chad on Thursday.

Otto Addo has also called upon Mohammed Salisu, while Benjamin Asare, Jonas Adjetey, Gideon Mensah, and Caleb Yirenkyi maintain their places in the team. Captain Jordan Ayew will lead the line alongside Mohammed Kudus and Antoine Semenyo.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.
