Juventus Move Swiftly to Secure Kenan Yildiz Amid Arsenal Interest

As increasing attention from Premier League giants Arsenal sparks the Serie A side to provide Kenan Yildiz an enhanced contract, Juventus are acting swiftly to lock down their brightest young player. One of Europe’s most explosive talents this season, the 20-year-old attacker has already grown into a star. The Bianconeri are therefore intent to keep him in Turin.

While Juventus are now negotiating a new contract that will considerably raise his pay and reaffirm his value to the squad, Yildiz’s present deal goes until 2028. With nine goals scored and seven assists spread over all competitions, the Turkish international had a breakthrough 2024–25 season. With that degree of performance, he is the second most prolific under-20 player in Europe, just behind Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona.

Yildiz’s outstanding performances have sparked great interest from Arsenal, who are eager to bolster their forward line this summer. However, Juventus are getting ready their response—and it starts with a profitable new contract to show their long-term dedication to the young winger.

Arsenal are believed to make substantial investments in their attacking line during the next transfer season. The club is reportedly setting aside €50–€60 million for a new winger. Along with Nico Williams of Athletic Club, Kenan Yildiz is on their shortlist. Under a reorganized recruiting staff headed by sporting director Andrea Berta, The Gunners seek to bring youth, adaptability, and creativity to their team.

Juventus, however, have emphasized clearly Yildiz is not for sale. Responding to the growing interest, the Italian club now values him at about €100 million, a figure that not only discourages possible suitors but also highlights his importance as a foundation stone for their future.

Yildiz’s wage would more than double under the suggested contract extension. Although he makes around €1.5 million a year right now, the new conditions should increase that to between €3 million and €4 million yearly, plus bonuses. Protecting the club’s position under outside pressure, this financial upgrade seeks to highlight his value to the squad.

One of the highlights of Juventus’ season has been the rise of Kenan Yildiz. His ability to play centrally and comfortable on both wings, his creativity, intellect, and goal-scoring eye have swiftly propelled him into a fan favourite. More significantly, his work has brought sorely needed energy to the Bianconeri attack.

Moving early to guarantee his future indicates Juventus have no intention of losing another great young star. Internal growth is given top priority by the club, which also aims to prevent a rerun of prior transfer controversies when young players left too soon. Yildiz sees the suggested new contract not only as a reward for his efforts but also as a strong vote of confidence. It indicates that he is essential to Juventus’s goals for European comeback as well as local triumph.

For Arsenal, this change may meanwhile compel them to turn to other targets. Although the club appreciates Yildiz’s potential, Juventus’s worth—to say nothing of the player’s probably new pay—makes any summer transfer more unlikely. Still, Arsenal’s objective to invest in broad attacking alternatives stays unchanged. Should Yildiz be priced out of a move, interest may turn more significantly to Nico Williams or other targets around Europe who fit their profile.
