Black Stars captain, Jordan Ayew, has indeed expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ghanaians for their unwavering support after the team’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America. In his message, Ayew thanked his teammates, coaching staff, the Ghana Football Association, the Government of Ghana, and the people of Ghana for their support throughout the campaign.

Ayew expressed sincere gratitude to fans for their unwavering support, saying their presence at matches fuels the team’s determination to succeed.

He commended his teammates and technical staff for their resilience and unity throughout the qualification journey and assured Ghanaians that the team will do everything possible to make the country proud at the World Cup.

The Black Stars secured their spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a hard-fought win over Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium, topping Group I to confirm their fifth consecutive appearance at the tournament.

Jordan Ayew played a pivotal role in the qualifiers, registering 14 goal contributions, including seven goals and seven assists.
