Jorge Posada failed to make it to Cooperstown, despite earning five All-Star selections and winning four World Series championships during his career.
Posada appeared on the Baseball Writers’ Association of America Hall of Fame ballot in 2017. He received 17 of 442 votes (3.8%), falling below the 5% minimum threshold required to remain on future ballots.
Making an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of “The Show,” the catcher made his feelings clear on the current voting system.
