IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: Lucknow Super Giants joined the ranks of teams like Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad to be eliminated from contention to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs. LSG’s hopes to make the cut for the playoffs ended after their six-wicket defeat to the Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow on Monday evening.

So far, there are three teams who are assured of qualifying for the playoffs: , and . This means that just two teams are now left standing to fight for the one playoffs spot remaining. Those two teams — and — will incidentally play against each other on Wednesday in a group stage clash that will decide which of the two teams will be in the Playoffs.
