IPL 2026 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from RCB vs KKR, Match 57 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) moved to the top of the IPL 2026 points table after beating rivals Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 57 of the tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur, on Wednesday, May 13. After a delayed start to the match, RCB opted to chase first, as there were chances of rain in the latter part of the match as well.

RCB found quick breakthroughs, with Finn Allen departing in the third over off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. A couple of overs later, Ajinkya Rahane was dismissed, caught & bowled by Josh Hazlewood, as KKR seemed to be in trouble, having lost both the openers early. Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green provided some solid support in the middle to pull things back in their favour.

Raghuvanshi’s 71 off just 46 balls was decorated with seven fours and three maximums, notwithstanding the risk-free strokeplay he adopted. Rinku Singh also took advantage of the momentum, contributing 49* off 29, as the visitors posted a solid 192/4 at the end of the innings. Apart from Bhuvneshwar and Hazlewood, Rasikh Salam Dar accounted for a wicket, as Raghuvanshi was run out off Devdutt Padikkal.

With a clear intent and approach, RCB came out all guns blazing in the second innings. Virat Kohli was the star of the night, though, smashing an unbeaten century, his ninth in the tournament. Eleven beautiful drives, punches, and glances went for a boundary off the talismanic batter’s blade, while an exquisite glance, a flick, and a pull accounted for his three sixes in the night. Padikkal contributed with 39 off 27, too.

For his exceptional night that entertained the crowd in Raipur and made the target look a meagre one, Kohli was awarded the Player of the Match accolade, as Rajat Patidar was the happy captain at the end of the game. KKR players shook hands with the opposition but will now start thinking about their plans, as only three games are remaining and any further loss would mean their elimination before the playoffs.
