Gujarat Titans are once again stepping forward in support of the fight against cancer, proudly donning special lavender jerseys for their home game on May 12, 2026. Continuing this initiative for the fourth consecutive year, the Titans aim to stand alongside everyone impacted by the disease while reinforcing the message that cancer can be fought with strength, timely care, and collective support.

In the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans will bring together players, fans, and the wider community in a shared show of support for the cause. Through the Lavender Jersey Game, the franchise hopes to use the platform of cricket to spotlight the importance of resilience in the fight against the disease, while reinforcing the message that with timely measures and proper care, cancer can be defeated.

Colonel Arvinder Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Gujarat Titans, said:

“The Lavender Jersey Game has become an important part of our journey as a franchise over the last four years. As a team, we believe sport has the power to inspire communities and rally people behind causes that truly matter. This initiative is our way of extending support to those affected by cancer and reinforcing that no one stands alone in this fight.”

Shubman Gill, Captain of Gujarat Titans, expressed the team’s support for the initiative, saying:

“As players, we understand the kind of impact cricket can have beyond the field. Wearing the lavender jersey is a small but meaningful gesture from all of us at Gujarat Titans to show our support for people and families affected by cancer. We hope the game helps bring people together and strengthens the spirit of standing by one another.”

The Lavender Jersey Game presents a unique opportunity for Gujarat Titans fans and the broader cricketing community to come together in support of the fight against cancer. Through this initiative, the franchise continues to strengthen its commitment to using the power of sport to drive meaningful community impact beyond the game.
