IPL 2025: Updated Points Table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap List after SRH vs DC Clash

Yesterday’s match in the ongoing IPL 2025 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was called off due to rain, and both teams were awarded one point each. As a result, SRH are now out of the playoff race for this season, while DC are still hopeful for a playoff berth with this one point.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are still leading the points table with 16 points. Punjab Kings (PBKS) are in second spot with 15 points, while both Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are in third and fourth spots, respectively, with 14 points each. After yesterday’s result, DC are now in fifth spot with 13 points, while the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), are in sixth spot with 11 points.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) follow with 10 points. SRH are now in eighth position with seven points, while Rajasthan Royals (RR) are in ninth with six points, and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are at the bottom with four points.

IPL 2025 – Orange Cap List

RCB’s Virat Kohli is the current Orange Cap holder with 505 runs. In second place is GT’s Sai Sudharsan with 504 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav is in third with 475 runs. RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is in fourth spot with 473 runs, followed by GT’s Jos Buttler in fifth with 470 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

GT’s Prasidh Krishna remains at the top of the Purple Cap list with 19 wickets. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood is second with 18 wickets. Following him are PBKS’ Arshdeep Singh, CSK’s Noor Ahmad, and MI’s Trent Boult, who have all picked up 16 wickets each.
