It was a tough battle that fans witnessed yesterday between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Gujarat Titans (GT). GT were successful in dominating the MI in the first innings, restricting them to 155. However, the GT batters managed to finish it off with a win by three wickets. They now lead the points table while MI are now at the fourth spot.
IPL 2025 Points Table
GT are currently leading the points table with 16 points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), with 16 points, are in the second spot. Punjab Kings (PBKS) are not far behind with 15 points, followed by MI with 14 points. With 13 points, Delhi Capitals (DC) are in the fifth spot. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), with 11 points, are next. The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in the seventh spot with 10 points. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently the bottom three teams.
IPL 2025- Orange Cap List
After yesterday’s nail-biting match, MI’s Suryakumar Yadav is the Orange Cap holder with 510 runs. GT’s B Sai Sudharsan with 509 runs is next. Another GT batter is Shubman Gill with 508 runs. RCB’s Virat Kohli takes the fourth spot with 505 runs. Third GT batter in the list is Jos Buttler with 500 runs in the fifth spot.
IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List
GT’s Prasidh Krishna leads it again with 20 wickets. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood and MI’s Trent Boult is next in line with 18 wickets each. PBKS’s Arshdeep Singh and CSK’s Noor Ahmad are at 16 wickets each. KKR ‘s Varun Chakravarthy and GT’s Mohammed Siraj are tied at 15 wickets each.
