IPL 2025, Match 57: Ayush Mhatre vs KKR
SHARE

A wonderfully executed catch by Ayush Mhatre in the deep brought about the end of Rinku Singh during Match 57 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings. Rinku was the sixth and final wicket to fall for KKR.

Although taken on the second attempt, it was a terrific grab by the 17-year-old. Dragged down short on the leg stump, Rinku pulled the in the air, but couldn’t quite get enough elevation to get it over the fielder. Mhatre, who was stationed very close to the deep square leg fence, hopped in an attempt to reverse-cup the ball. He did so on the second attempt while ensuring he doesn’t step over the fence.
