Highest IPL team scores: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) scored 278/3 against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday to go into the record books yet again to score the third highest Indian Premier League total. SRH already hold the record for the highest team total in Indian Premier League history, having smashed a record 287/3 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 season. The Orange Army also smashed 277/3 against Mumbai Indians in the same season.

also whipped up the sixth-highest total with a whopping 266/7 against . They also scored the second highest total in history in their 2025 season opener against with 286 runs. Thus, SRH have 4 of the top 5 highest totals in the league’s history with ’ 272/7 vs in 2024, the only other team in the top 5.

In the match, and Travis Head gave SRH a blistering start with Heinrich Klaasen chipping in with stormy century in just 37 balls. The Kolkata bowlers couldn’t catch a break at all with the batters making merry on a flat pitch.

Klaasen led a scintillating top-order batting performance with a sensational hundred to power to a challenging 278 for 3 against Kolkata Knight Riders in their final IPL match here on Sunday. Opting to bat, Klaasen smashed 105 not out off 39 balls, while Travis Head made 76 off 40 balls and opener Abhishek Sharma hit a 16-ball 32. Sunil Narine (2/42) picked up two wickets. Both the teams are out of playoff race.
