The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (RFA), in collaboration with the Football Association (GFA), has successfully completed the 12th batch of the Licence D Coaching Course.

The intensive eight-day training program took place at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram and focused on equipping aspiring coaches with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to operate effectively at the colts (youth) level. This edition saw an all-male group of participants, each undergoing rigorous sessions aimed at building their coaching capacity.

Upon completion, all participants were assessed through a comprehensive evaluation process. The participants will be awarded the Licence D Certificate, officially qualifying them to coach at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Greater Accra RFA Chairman, Mr. Samuel Aboabire, encouraged the newly certified coaches to approach their roles with humility, discipline, and dedication. He emphasized the vital role they play in identifying and developing young talents who will form the future of Ghanaian football.

The course was delivered under the supervision of GFA Technical Director, Professor Joseph Mintah, and facilitated by certified instructors from FIFA, CAF, and the GFA, ensuring a high standard of training aligned with international best practices.

The successful completion of this course aligns with ongoing commitment to strengthening football development at the grassroots level and building a solid foundation for the future of the sport in Ghana.
