The Free License D Coaching Course for colts club coaches in the region from Monday, July 28 to Monday, August 4, 2025. The training sessions will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This course is part of the GFA’s national agenda to enhance grassroots football by empowering coaches at the juvenile level with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop young talents effectively.

As with other regions, the course will be delivered at no cost to participating coaches, reinforcing the GFA’s commitment to accessible and inclusive development.

This will be the second time the GFA is organizing the course in the Central Region and over 30 colts club coaches will benefit from the significant program. The Association aims at offering the free course to 900 colts club coaches all over the country in a 3-year period.

Over the course of the week, participants will undergo intensive training covering coaching methodology, child psychology, technical drills, and player development frameworks. The curriculum combines classroom-based theory with practical on-field sessions, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

The program will be led by licensed CAF/GFA instructors under the supervision of the GFA Technical Directorate. Coaches who successfully complete the course will be awarded the CAF/GFA License D Certificate, qualifying them to coach at the juvenile level across Ghana.

The Greater Accra Regional FA has urged all eligible colts club coaches to take full advantage of this opportunity as the region joins the national effort to raise coaching standards and build a strong foundation for future football excellence.
