Ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has told Arsenal to snap up Kevin De Bruyne, who asserted that he will leave Manchester City this summer earlier this April.
De Bruyne, whose contract will run out this June, is arguably considered to be one of the best Premier League midfielders of all time. He has won six Premier League titles, contributing 72 goals and 121 assists in just 285 league appearances.
During a recent chat with Sky Sports, O’Hara shared his honest thoughts on De Bruyne‘s future and asserted that Arsenal should sign the Belgian on a free transfer. He said (h/t Metro):
O’Hara, who made 93 Premier League appearances as a player, added:
So far this campaign, De Bruyne has started 24 of his 36 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City. The 33-year-old has registered six goals and eight assists for Pep Guardiola’s outfit so far.
Earlier this January, the Gunners had a £40 million bid rejected for Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins. They could reportedly reignite their interest in the Englishman this summer.
Opining on the former Brentford and Exeter City City striker, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand commented on TNT Sports (h/t Metro):
Watkins, 29, has scored 86 times and provided 41 assists in 220 matches across competitions for Aston Villa since arriving from Brentford in 2020.
