The 2025-26 Ghana Premier League is set to kick off on Friday, September 12, 2025. Ahead of the season, let’s take a look at the coaches leading the 18 teams.

Ten teams retained their coaches from last season, while eight clubs changed theirs. The teams that maintained their coaches include Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC, FC Samartex, Karela United, Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, Vision FC, Nations FC, Aduana FC, and Berekum Chelsea wasn’t on the list of teams that changed coaches or retained but for context let’s say they retained.

On the other hand, the eight teams that changed their coaches are Hearts of Oak, Hohoe United, Swedru All Blacks, Eleven Wonders, Bechem United, Basake Holy Stars, Young Apostles, and Dreams FC.

Interestingly, only two clubs appointed foreign coaches. Aduana FC appointed Romanian Cioba Arista last season, and Swedru All Blacks, returning to the league after 16 years, appointed Ahmed Fathi from Egypt.

Here’s the list of coaches, their clubs, and nationalities:
