The Football Association will hold a one-day training workshop for Access Bank Division One League Match Commissioners on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, as part of final preparations for the new season, which begins Friday, September 26.

Scheduled for the GFA Conference Room, the workshop will cover a broad range of critical topics, including the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game, integrity protocols, effective use of the Competition Management System (CMS) and best practices in report writing.

Participants will also gain insights into the evolving role of the modern Match Commissioner and strategies for conducting efficient technical meetings.

Key areas such as misconduct, compliance and safeguarding the integrity of the game will receive particular attention.

The session will be led by GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, with expert contributions from Francis Essah Adu (Head of IT), Esme Mends (Club Licensing Manager), Alex Kotey (Referees Manager) and Obed Tuffour (Compliance and Integrity Officer).

The 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League kicks off on the weekend of September 26–29, 2025, and will run for 30 weekends without official midweek fixtures, concluding on Monday, May 18, 2026.
