The leadership of the Ghana Football Association will engage all Division One League clubs to review the 2024/25 league season and look at plans for the progressive development of the upcoming 2025/26 season.

President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Executive Council Members, the Domestic Competitions Committee will meet with Chief Executives of the Access Bank Division One League (DOL) clubs on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in an annual review session aimed at evaluating the recently-ended season and setting a clear roadmap for the 2025/26 campaign.

The President will also be joined by Vice-President Mark Addo, along with Division One League Executive Council members Gideon Fosu and Eugene Nobel Noel in leading this important engagement with the leadership of the 48 DOL clubs.

The annual meeting has become a key fixture in the GFA calendar, offering a strategic platform for open dialogue and collaboration between the Association and the second-tier clubs.

This year’s session will focus on reviewing the operational performance, challenges, and successes of the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League season while exploring actionable solutions to strengthen the league’s structure and competitiveness.

The discussions will centre on several priority areas, including regulations and compliance, club licensing and infrastructure improvement, sponsorship, and communication strategies, amongst others.

The engagement is designed to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with the Football Association’s vision of building a more professional and sustainable football pyramid in Ghana.

The 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League season is scheduled to commence on the weekend of September 26, 2025, and conclude on May 11, 2026.
