The Ghana Football Association, in partnership with FIFA, is set to host a one-day Commercial Strategy Workshop aimed at boosting the commercial viability of the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
Scheduled for Thursday, 3 September 2026, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, the event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. under the theme: “From the Pitch to Profit: Building a Commercial Future for the Women’s Premier League.”
The workshop is part of the ongoing implementation of the FIFA Commercial Strategy framework and will bring together club executives, sponsors, media representatives, commercial partners, and football administrators. Sessions will cover key areas including marketing, branding, sponsorship development, digital infrastructure, content strategy, fan engagement, and emerging commercial opportunities.
The engagement aims to explore practical pathways to enhance the visibility, sustainability, and revenue-generating potential of women’s football in Ghana.
Stakeholders invited to participate have been encouraged to confirm attendance by submitting delegate details to facilitate arrangements.
The initiative underscores FIFA and GFA’s shared commitment to strengthening the commercial foundation of the women’s game and ensuring long-term growth both on and off the pitch.
